The real test starts in November

Ideas are easy. Reality is the test.

An idea can sound great on paper.

An app can look good in a demo.

But the real question is what happens when farmers, buyers and transport providers start using it to solve real problems.

  • Can a farmer find a buyer more easily?
  • Can a buyer discover produce that meets their needs?
  • Can a transporter find opportunities to put their vehicle to work?

These are the kinds of questions we want to start answering.

Our first pilot: Zimbabwe, this November

We're preparing for our first FarmPlace pilot in Zimbabwe this November, and we know that building a useful agricultural marketplace means listening to the people who will actually use it.

We don't expect to get everything right on day one. We want to test, listen, learn and improve alongside the people who understand these challenges best.

Help shape what we build

That's why we're opening the conversation.

If you're a farmer, produce buyer, agricultural business or transport provider, we'd like to hear from you.

What is one thing you wish was easier about buying, selling or moving agricultural produce?

Your experience could help shape what we build next.
