Your vehicle, your next load

Every community already owns the vehicles to move goods - pickups, vans, trucks, motorcycles, tractors. What's missing is a fair way to match them with the loads that need them.

Your vehicle, your next load

The vehicles are already here

Across our communities, people own vehicles of all kinds. From pickups, vans, and trucks to motorcycles, tractors, and every vehicle in between, we have the tools to move goods from one place to another.

Even on foot, people find ways to bridge the gap.

At the same time, farmers need their produce transported, buyers need goods delivered, and businesses need reliable hands to move their products.

Yet, matching the right load with the right vehicle still requires endless phone calls, asking around, and relying on word of mouth. Worse, this manual process often forces people to rely on middlemen who take a massive cut of the profit.

What the middleman really costs

For example, a buyer might offer $1,000 USD to move a container of maize from Point A to Point B.

A middleman will pocket that offer and pass it to a driver for just $600 USD.

The farmer is left waiting for days while the middleman hunts for a desperate transporter.

Meanwhile, the original $1,000 payout could have easily motivated hundreds of drivers to step up immediately. Instead, because of greed, the farmer loses time and the underpaid driver arrives frustrated.

This situation gets even worse if the goods are perishable, as every wasted hour risks spoiling the harvest.

This poor compensation inevitably leads to handled goods being damaged, unnecessary disputes, and endless drama.

What if it was easier and more transparent?

That is where FarmPlace comes in.

We are building an agricultural marketplace that brings farmers, buyers, and transport providers into a single, connected space.

If you own or operate a vehicle, FarmPlace helps you connect directly with agricultural transport opportunities that match your specific vehicle and services. Whether you are an independent driver, a fleet owner, a transport operator, or someone looking to put an underutilized vehicle to work, there is a place for you in a more connected market.

Agricultural trade does not stop when a buyer is found. The goods still need to move, and the people moving them deserve fair, direct access to profitable opportunities.

As we prepare for our first pilot in Zimbabwe, we are building with the entire agricultural journey in mind.

Transporters and vehicle owners: What do you currently find hardest about getting loads? Is it finding customers, avoiding empty return trips, or negotiating fair transport rates?
